Discipline is necessary to improve techniques and develop our hidden resources to the point where they may be utilised in practical application.

Everyone of our students is taught to be responsible and to be a "thinking" Martial Artist. As physical ability increases, so does mental control and focus in all activities.

Self-discipline through personal application is necessary to improve techniques and develop our hidden resources to the point where they may be utilised in practical application - the more you train at a particular technique, the more you improve your nervous system’s familiarity with the technique.

Speed or power without focus is an unnecessary waste of energy. In order to achieve effective speed and power, there must be an ability to focus on technique and accuracy is an essential first step.
​
Once a student has demonstrated an ability to focus; speed and power will be developed in class through repetition and reinforcement of good technique whereby the techniques themselves become second nature.
