Initial SHMA Membership is free - Membership reinstation is £8
Annual Insurance (September 1st - August 31st) is required for all students - students cannot attend classes without Insurance

NOTE: All students who paid annual Insurance 2019 - 2020 only need to pay £3.25 per person this insurance year (Coronavirus discount)
In consideration of gaining SHMA Membership and Insurance, therefore being permitted to participate in the classes and activities and use any equipment offered, having paid any fee or charge, I do hereby agree to abide by the SHMA codes, principles, and regulations set forth on the SHMA website.
I agree to pay all dues as applicable; late fees or non-payment will not reduce the cost of fees and could incur further charges and penalties.
I agree that my Membership and Insurance may be terminated with immediate effect if SHMA concludes that I, a family member or guest have violated any SHMA updated guidelines, codes, principles, regulations or general instructions.
This is also applicable in the event that I, a family member or guest fail to maintain the SHMA Club decorum or fail to clear any charges/dues in the time set forth by SHMA.
If a class is canceled by SHMA during term time, students may attend a ZOOM Wednesday class within 12 weeks of the class cancellation. Physical class catch-ups may be restricted at this time due to the Coronavirus.
SHMA has the right to cancel one class per term without credit or refund being applied. If a second class is canceled by SHMA, students may catch up the class, at their convenience, at any other age and grade-appropriate class or request that the cost of the class is refunded or added to their credit.
In the event of a student not training for a school term period. SHMA Membership and Insurance will be canceled without notice. Initial SHMA Membership is free - Membership reinstation is £8.
Students who choose to terminate their classes during a term are not entitled to any fee reimbursement or credit.
Students who miss classes are still required to pay the full term/monthly fee.
SHMA Zoom classes are not to be gallery viewed - all viewing devices are to remain on your class teacher - this option must be selected immediately upon entering the room.
In the event of an accident, injury or illness involving a student consent is given to give First Aid, by any SHMA First Aider or any other medical personnel including, but not limited to a paramedic or doctor. This is while the above-named participant is in or around any SHMA venue, participating in any activity sponsored by or under the auspices of SHMA and in circumstances where a student, parent or carer are physically unable to consent.
