Martial arts offers an incredible training platform for individuals to cultivate a variety of skills.
It supports students achieving their initial goals of self-defense, fitness, flexibility, and attaining their Black Belt, while fostering social skills, confidence, personal discipline, respect, focus, and empathy. These qualities benefit them throughout their lives as family members, friends, employees, or employers.
With over 40 years of experience in martial arts, I have witnessed many students transform into not just skilled Martial Artists, but also compassionate, focused, and determined individuals who realize their goals are attainable. At Snow Herons Martial Arts, we prioritize our responsibility to educate students and a positive experience that emphasizes support, welfare, and well-being within our training environment.
Our commitment to Keeping Children Safe in Education through safeguarding procedures helps prevent issues and assures all involved that our Safeguarding Statement is designed to assist guide, and protect everyone at SHMA.
We collaborate with various schools to align with their guidelines and those set by Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO).
Our Safeguarding Statement outlines how to identify potential problems and offers guidance on procedures for everyone involved.
